This is a poem. Dear Friends: As you may know, I teach a weekly painting class for a group of adults with developmental disabilities. I am looking for another person or maybe two to help out in the class. The class meets once a week for ten weeks, on Fridays, from 4:00 - 5:45 PM at the Sitar Center in Adams Morgan. We are starting on October 4. It is a great, fun loving, gregarious group and the work is 
extremely satisfying. It's kind of like going to a birthday party every Friday. There is a $250 honorarium for the ten classes. It is not necessary to attend every single class and we schedule around holidays so no 3 day weekends are interrupted. Other artists who have worked in the class include Vesna Pavlovic, Stephanie Ney, Sara Pomerance and Felicia Barr. Let me know if you're interested or if you know someone else who is really good to work and might be interested. We also enjoy visitors, so drop in anytime.
