Summer Squalls are Happening Today, Just the Way We Planned

what to do when the tomatoes have been stolen?
when patellas are broken?
when the blender doesn’t work?

Bury an egg:,
teal in the center,
waiting,
a century later.

Jive and advise:
do martial arts for 32 years,
never eat red meat;
no drugs or alchohol,
specifically on the bus.

When the tick bites,
lay down
and let someone you love
pull it out.

Buy more, strawberry shortcake,
wait for the healing to begin,
put it in a thermos
to finish later

The ghosts are knocking;
let them in.
